Upon arrival in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan known as the "Pink City," you will be transferred to your hotel. Established in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur is recognized as the world's first planned city, designed according to the ancient Hindu architectural treatise Shilpa Shastra. The city's distinctive pink hue was introduced in 1883 to welcome Prince Albert. Spend the day at leisure or explore key attractions such as the City Palace, a complex of courtyards and museums; Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring 19 astronomical instruments; and the bustling bazaars of the old city. 2 Jaipur - Local sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Jaipur. Visit the majestic Amber Fort, known for its artistic Hindu-style elements and the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), renowned for its intricate mirror work. An optional elephant ride to the fort is available (subject to availability and at your own cost). Continue to the City Palace, which houses a museum showcasing royal artifacts, and then to Jantar Mantar, the largest stone observatory in the world.
